Awir Leon is a multifaceted artist : author, singer, composer, producer and dancer. As a dancer for several years, he collaborated with choreographers for whom he composed original musical creations, notably Emanuel Gat and Amala Dianor. As a musician he released two albums, Giants and Man Zoo, in which he continues his beautiful ascent towards the vaporous spaces of a bewitching and dreamlike electronic soul. The celestial voice of this lover of indie-tronica atmospheres resonates with his stage name: Awir means "sky" in Gaelic, but his music has many influences, which ignores borders. His artistic and musical journey caught Woodkid’s eye, who invited him last year to be part of his band and gave him the opportunity to open all headline shows on his tour.
