System Olympia is the creative moniker of London-based producer, songwriter, vocalist, and DJ Francesca Macri. Her music crafts an intoxicating, timeless sonic world inspired by erotic literature, late-night drives, dance floor romance, and raw emotional depth. Characterized by lush pads, dreamy synths, gritty drums, and unforgettable melodies, her sound blends retro-futurist elements with sultry, immersive atmospheres - drawing from Italo disco, Balearic house, synth-pop, and beyond. A prolific artist, System Olympia has built a dedicated following through self-released projects on her label Okay Nature Records. Standout releases include the underground classic Delta of Venus LP (an homage to Anaïs Nin’s groundbreaking 1977 erotic anthology), Always on Time (featured in Pitchfork’s ‘29 Records You May Have Missed’), Sanctified EP, New Erotica Collection, and re- cent works like Double Climax LP. Her music celebrates pleasure, decadence, and sensuality, often described as “slow-burning blends” that evoke nightlife intimacy and emotional intensity. In addition to studio work, she maintains a monthly residency on NTS Radio, sharing eclectic mixes and unreleased material. She has performed at festivals and venues all around the world delivering hypnotic live sets and DJ performances. System Olympia also co-founded the visual and art project Odessa Collection with collaborator Dual Room, expanding her world into bold, desire-driven imagery, posters, and multidisciplinary creations. Animated by desire and unafraid to explore the erotic as art, System Olympia continues to evolve -delivering evocative, body-moving music that captivates both underground scenes and broader audiences.
