Bonnie Banane is a singer-songwriter and composer born in Brittany (France) in 1987.

From her debut single "Muscles" in 2012 to her second album, “NINI”, released in April 2024, and through numerous collaborations (Chassol, Chilly Gonzales, Sabrina Bellaouel, Flavien Berger, Hubert Lenoir…), Bonnie Banane has navigated the French music scene with a style uniquely her own. Bonnie transcends genres, always striving to blur the boundaries between them. Whether juggling R&B, chanson, or jazz, her melodies are always driven by words that flow like incantations.

With alchemical brilliance, she seeks to reconcile the starkest contrasts: cold death, burning passion, and the timid in-betweens, to which few songs are ever dedicated. Inspired by the world around her, her own experiences, and the stories of others, she draws from the surrealist poetry of Brigitte Fontaine and the gospel of D’Angelo, cultivating a style that is enigmatic, sensual, and whimsical.

Trained in dramatic arts, she has also appeared as an actress in films by Bertrand Mandico and Bertrand Bonello. This theatricality carries over into her music and performances. On stage, where the exuberance of a clown meets the dignity of mourners, she teaches us to dance with doubt and laugh at darkness, crafting the unexpected soundtrack to our lives.
